This three-pronged device is used to pick up a water balloon from a 150mm tall tube and place it into the container. Both objects are made from wood and wool. Wool has been woven between two circular plates on the tool to create a comfortable handle. The user's fingers wrap around the handle, leaving the thumb free to push on the lever, picking up the water balloon. As the user holds the tool, the fabric moulds to the shape of their hand. To release the balloon, the user simply releases the lever. The weaving technique used on the tool is also used on the container as a cushion for the water balloon.
